About

Ediflorial is a floral design studio based in occupied indigenous territory: Minneapolis, Minnesota. At this time, we have a private studio not open to the public. We specialize in events and weddings, container gardening and seasonal planters and occasional flower deliveries; this means we can’t accommodate same-day requests.

Background
Owner-designer Amber Newman has worked two seasons flower farming in California and Vermont as part of her one year organic farm tour around the country.  With a city-based business now, she’s fortunate to be able to source from many farmers in surrounding areas. Amber uses mostly locally grown, chemical-free flowers so that designs are innovative, seasonal and sustainable.

Values
Ediflorial’s priority is to support nearby farmers and small businesses in an effort to build a stronger community and healthier planet for all. Amber identifies as someone who benefits from straight, cis, white, able-bodied, middle class privilege but works in Queer and anti-racist circles trying to break down systems of oppression–yes, even through flowers.

i deeply believe that Flowers are magical.
in one Blossom, they hold the Beauty and the Secrets
of the entire Universe.
thus, i believe they enhance our lives–
both daily and in celebrations.

one Blossom is a story
from a Seed being buried in the Darkness, being nourished
by unseen Rain and Sun,
to Sprout breaking through–
a process of growth and expansion until
it finally bursts into Bloom, to exclaim itself
before being recycled to start this process all over again.
and again. and again.
